The first 18-hole golf course, designed by PGA Tour player Phil Mickelson and architect Gary Stephenson, opened in February 2001. It features an exceptional design that emphasizes the "down in the desert" beauty of Whisper Rock's lush natural washes and rolling desert topography. A second 18-hole golf course, created by celebrated designer Tom Fazio highlights the stunning beauty of Whisper Rock's numerous rock outcroppings and dramatic "uplands."
